This is a dedicated landing space to support students, parents and teachers with all their English, reading, writing, speaking and listening literacy needs.

With almost 20 years experience in a range of Secondary contexts as English Specialist: from Director of Learning, More Able Coordinator, EAL Coordinator and International Trip Coordinator I am an excellent choice for extra-curricular provision.

I have successfully completed training in SEND: Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD as well as obtaining Practitioner Status qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and NeuroLinguistics,

I help all my clients to navigate, fix and upgrade their skills, ensuring that everyone feels confident to pursue their learning with agency and capacity.

With nearly two whole decades of experience as a qualified English specialist and as an AQA examiner, I know exactly what separates a good answer from a top-mark one.

My additional training in CBT, NLP and SEND/Dyslexia support means I don't just teach content, I help students overcome anxiety blocks that stand between them and success.

SUPPORT

Every student gets ongoing support between sessions, not just during them.

I am responsive and reflective offering bespoke and meaningful feedback with SMART targets.

TRAINING

I regularly run workshops and masterclasses sharing exam-board trained knowledge and understanding. That way, students are also trained to reflect on their own progress, developing the skill of subject auditing to support them with independent study and revision.

Every resource I create is examiner-informed and classroom tested, so nothing goes out unless I am confident that it will actually move a grade.
